Zephaniah 2:1-3
1 Gather together, gather yourselves together, you shameful nation,
2 before the decree takes effect and that day passes like windblown chaff,
before the Lord’s fierce anger comes upon you, before the day of the Lord’s wrath comes upon you.
3 Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land, you who do what he commands.
Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the Lord’s anger.
- The Israelities sinned and the word of the Lord came to Zephaniah that disaster would come. What should we do in the world we are living, where we fall due to our sins and by the grace of the Lord He will make it right? In any situations, continue to seek the Lord, seek righteousness, seek humility, don't give up on our faith in the Lord. Continue to do His will, follow His commands and lead faithful life to the Lord.
