It is a joy to read God's word to gain knowledge of the history of God's people and to know it is good to have God in our lives. Let us encourage each other to spur on with our journey with Lord Jesus Christ who come to save us so we can have eternal life in heaven with our brothers and sisters in Christ. |
Micah 2:1-5
1 Woe to those who plan iniquity, to those who plot evil on their beds! At morning’s light they carry it out because it is in their power to do it. 2 They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them. They defraud people of their homes, they rob them of their inheritance. 3 Therefore, the Lord says: “I am planning disaster against this people, from which you cannot save yourselves. You will no longer walk proudly, for it will be a time of calamity. 4 In that day people will ridicule you; they will taunt you with this mournful song: ‘We are utterly ruined; my people’s possession is divided up. He takes it from me! He assigns our fields to traitors.’” 5 Therefore you will have no one in the assembly of the Lord to divide the land by lot.
- The word of God is for all people to do good not evil. It tells us the history of the Israelities - God's people. It tells us the way to live, obey, trust and faithful in God who controls heaven and earth. He who is our God and creator will lead us to the right paths, ways of living, peace, joy and love. Let us be willing to open our hearts to God's word for His ways are truth, right and good.
Psalm 59 God is My Defense by Esther Mui
1 Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; Defend me from those who rise up against me. 2 Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, And save me from bloodthirsty men.
9 I will wait for You, O You his Strength; For God is my defense. 10 My God of mercy shall come to meet me;
16 But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense, And refuge in the day of my trouble. 17 To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises; For God is my defense, My God of mercy.

Micah 5:2-4
2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.” 3 Therefore Israel will be abandoned until the time when she who is in labor bears a son, and the rest of his brothers return to join the Israelites. 4 He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God. And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth.
- The story of Jesus Christ born in Bethlehem. Mary was in labor. People returned to the city. Jesus and the sheppard and the flock in the strength of the Lord, in majesty of the name of the Lord. His greatness will reach to the ends of the earth and He will bring peace. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. The word of Jesus Christ before He ascent to heaven. My Readers, we will have peace and with one another in the presence of Lord Jesus Christ. His peace is unlike others. His peace cannot be measured. His peace is His presence and His gift to us. Let us spread the good news to the world about Jesus Christ who bring peace to this world and to bring awareness that God is our creator, the awesome God, the God who stands with open arms waiting to receive God's children to be at peace with God and to acknowledge who we are, God's children.
Loving My Jesus by Casting Crowns
I was a wandering soul Traveling a well worn road A sinner so far from home No second chance in sight I heard You call my name I felt You lift my shame And I made a vow that day That I'd spend the rest of my life
Loving my Jesus Showing my scars Telling my story of how mercy Can reach You where You are And I pray the whole world hears The cry of my heart Is to see all the ones I love Loving my Jesus
Sin tries to make you hide Whispers that same old lie Keep all your pain inside 'Cause no one will understand The last thing this lost world needs Is someone I'm trying to be Truth that has set me free Is that I'm just a broken man
Loving my Jesus Showing my scars Telling my story of how mercy Can reach You where You are And I pray the whole world hears The cry of my heart Is to see all the ones I love Loving my Jesus
When all is said and done When my last song's been sung I stand face to face with the One Who gave all for me May all I have to show Be all that mattered most Making Your great name known Let this be my only legacy
Loving my Jesus Showing my scars Telling my story of how mercy Can reach You where You are And I pray the whole world hears The cry of my heart Is to see all the ones I love Oh, all the ones I love Loving my Jesus

Micah 6:6-8
6 With what shall I come before the Lord and bow down before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? 7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of olive oil? Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? 8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
- It is our acts, our attitude, our hearts, our character that matter. It is not gold or silver but our personalities that matter. What does the Lord require us? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with God. |
Micah 7:1-7
Israel’s Misery 1 What misery is mine! I am like one who gathers summer fruit at the gleaning of the vineyard; there is no cluster of grapes to eat, none of the early figs that I crave. 2 The faithful have been swept from the land; not one upright person remains. Everyone lies in wait to shed blood; they hunt each other with nets. 3 Both hands are skilled in doing evil; the ruler demands gifts, the judge accepts bribes, the powerful dictate what they desire— they all conspire together. 4 The best of them is like a brier, the most upright worse than a thorn hedge. The day God visits you has come, the day your watchmen sound the alarm. Now is the time of your confusion. 5 Do not trust a neighbor; put no confidence in a friend. Even with the woman who lies in your embrace guard the words of your lips. 6 For a son dishonors his father, a daughter rises up against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law - a man’s enemies are the members of his own household. 7 But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
- What will you do when all people against you? I will pray to Jesus Christ. I will stand on my feet. I will put my faith in Jesus Christ. I will set my eyes on Jesus Christ. We should not let our situations and people to affect us but to walk in His ways and set our eyes and hope on Jesus Christ. Let us focus on who we are as Christians in difficult times and set our eyes on Jesus Christ. May God bless and straighten our paths. Let us pray for Jesus Christ to be our eyes and feet and be with us till He brings us to heaven.
Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
O soul are you weary and troubled? No light in the darkness you see? There's light for a look at the Savior, and life more abundant and free! Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace. Through death into life everlasting He passed, and we follow Him there; o'er us sin no more hath dominion - for more than conqu'rors we are! Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace. His word shall not fail you - He promised. Believe Him, and all will be well: then go to a world that is dying, His perfect salvation to tell! Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace.
