Talk To Him

Dear Readers,

You will read the Israelites occupied the promised land in this book of Joshua. It took a long time to read from the book of Exodus to Joshua than to watch Prince of Egypt; but it was a joy reading it. I hope you had a great time reading it too.

Exodus 14:21-22 and Joshua 3:15-17

Exodus 14:21-22

21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, 22 and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.

Joshua 3:15-17

15 Now the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest. Yet as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water’s edge, 16 the water from upstream stopped flowing. It piled up in a heap a great distance away, at a town called Adam in the vicinity of Zarethan, while the water flowing down to the Sea of the Arabah (that is, the Dead Sea) was completely cut off. So the people crossed over opposite Jericho. 17 The priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord stopped in the middle of the Jordan and stood on dry ground, while all Israel passed by until the whole nation had completed the crossing on dry ground.

- If God could lift up water for Israelites to cross the sea and the river on dry ground, what are the things God cannot do for you? Matthew 19:26 With God all things are possible.

Joshua 21:43-45

43 So the Lord gave Israel all the land he had sworn to give their ancestors, and they took possession of it and settled there. 44 The Lord gave them rest on every side, just as he had sworn to their ancestors. Not one of their enemies withstood them; the Lord gave all their enemies into their hands. 45 Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.   - Be encouraged by Joshua 21:43-45. God fulfilled His promise to His people.
