2 Chronicles 14:2-6

Asa King of Judah

² Asa did what was good and right in the eyes of the Lord his God. ³ He removed the foreign altars and the high places, smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles.^{[b] 4} He commanded Judah to seek the Lord, the God of their ancestors, and to obey his laws and commands. ⁵ He removed the high places and incense altars in every town in Judah, and the kingdom was at peace under him. ⁶ He built up the fortified cities of Judah, since the land was at peace. No one was at war with him during those years, for the Lord gave him rest.   - Are you experiencing no rest or peace in your life or office? Seek the Lord with your heart, mind and soul, and remove all your idols/gods; and He will give you rest/peace.

2 Chronicles 28:22-25

²² In his time of trouble King Ahaz became even more unfaithful to the Lord. ²³ He offered sacrifices to the gods of Damascus, who had defeated him; for he thought, “Since the gods of the kings of Aram have helped them, I will sacrifice to them so they will help me.” But they were his downfall and the downfall of all Israel. ²⁴ Ahaz gathered together the furnishings from the temple of God and cut them in pieces. He shut the doors of the Lord’s temple and set up altars at every street corner in Jerusalem. ²⁵ In every town in Judah he built high places to burn sacrifices to other gods and aroused the anger of the Lord, the God of his ancestors.   - Our Lord Jesus Christ is a faithful God. He is God. He knows everything. He knows what is best for us. You might experience disappointments or difficulties in life, but these are not the time to leave God, it is the time we need to speak to Him so to seek answer, help, guidance and leading. And have peace with God. Pray: God of all time, I trust You. In chaotic and confusing moments, I trust You. As I work to discover and carry out Your will, I trust You. Amen. Pray without ceasing.
